About the Project
The Coral Gables Memory Talking Book is an interactive learning tool, providing an entry point to various resources related to the history of the City of Coral Gables. The focal point of this project is the City's founder, George Merrick, and the other people, places, and events that shaped the City in its early years. The Talking Book allows local history to become more accessible to the public as well as provides an access point for more in-depth research. The Talking Book project also facilitates the preservation of historical resources in digital format.
Numerous partner institutions and individuals have contributed generously to this project. (Click here for a list of contributors.)
